Senior Manager, Learning & Organizational Development

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Senior Manager of Learning & Organization Development will support the design and implementation of high-impact and sustainable organizational development programs, spanning the employee lifecycle, in support of Ross' strategic goals and objectives. Reporting to the Senior Director of L&OD, the candidate will conduct needs assessment that support identification of opportunities for enhancing organizational effectiveness. They will support development and implementation of systemic organizational development approaches that address identified business needs and have measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to cultivate strong collaborative relationships with HR Business Partners and business clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with broad range of stakeholders to design, develop and deliver user-friendly, scalable Organizational Development initiatives across the talent lifecycle for Corporate, Supply Chain and Field business units

• Design and conduct needs assessments to determine root cause of organization performance/effectiveness issues

• Manage existing selection Assessment programs and lead selection/implementation of new assessment programs

• Support management of current Performance Management processes, identifying opportunities for increasing adoption and continuous improvement; Support continuous improvement of other OD-led processes

• Design and develop engaging training as needed to support rollout and sustainment of OD programs

• Design and implement marketing and change communications, leveraging the L&OD portal and other channels to increase usage and adoption of OD processes and programs

• Provide thought leadership and direction for design and usage of the L&OD portal

• Analyze, track and report on OD program effectiveness

• Design and facilitate team development and team effectiveness activities as requested

• Support Learning team with facilitation of professional, management and leadership development programs as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's or Doctoral Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., MS/MA/MBA) in Organization Development, Learning, Leadership, Organization Psychology or other related fields preferred.

• 7+ years of experience (internal or consulting) in a similar role in a medium or large, company with specific knowledge and/or expertise in organization effectiveness and learning and development

• Project/program management experience; Ability to manage all phases of a solution/project lifecycle, from initial solution design and planning, to execution and measurement

• Strong performance consulting, critical thinking, and analytical skills Prior consulting firm experience preferred.

• 2+ years of experience working with assessment methodologies/ technologies

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills; effective listener

• Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with individuals at different org levels

• Proven organization skills: ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands

• Strong MSOffice skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Adept at learning productivity and collaboration technologies/tools

• Aspiration to grow

• Preferred: working experience in the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Job requires the ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person and virtual meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
