Senior Business Analyst, IT

GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for working on patching and vulnerability projects that apply new solutions and improve existing processes.; Serves as a functional and/or technical expert in one or more disciplines. Responsible for IT Audit maintenance and compliance adherence, engaging with external and internal auditors, providing evidence and reports. Perform analysis as needed. Conduct analysis of existing patching and vulnerability remediation processes for improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop partnership, acting as a liaison between IGRC, Service and Portfolio Owners and support teams to understand, interpret and advise on technical questions.

• Facilitate meetings, issue resolution, escalations, etc. during the lifecycle of assigned projects.

• Responsible for existing audit compliance processes (internal and external) and engage with external and internal auditors, providing feedback and tracking remediation of audit findings

• Ability to lead, develop materials and deliver / present to senior leadership.

• Drive planning and execution throughout all phases for assigned projects.

• Lead creation and review of project-related deliverables including test approach, test plan, test scenarios, test cases/conditions, test scripts, and test results.

• Perform needed analysis to support processes and create supporting reports/documentation

• Previous project management experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

• 6+ years of experience in the IT field or equivalent business work experience, retail experience preferred but not required

• Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of other associates

• Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to all levels of the organization

• Ability to network with key contacts outside of own area of expertise

• Advanced application of productivity suite software (i.e. MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Project)

• Experience using MS SharePoint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
