The Operations Support Senior Manager is designated to be a successor role to an Operations Director, and is viewed to be a key member of the DC leadership team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure that an accurate accounting process of all incoming freight is maintained to match vendor shipping orders to avoid over-charging by vendors. Schedule trailer unloading in a manner to support merchandise processing requirements while avoiding unbudgeted trailer detention charges. Daily production meetings will be led by the position, providing direction to Department Managers on their daily production/volume and staffing requirements. This model takes into account projected UPH based upon product type, average UPH performance levels of Ross & Temp Associates and overall merchandise flow within the building to generate an approximate number of FTE's. An accurate headcount projection is critical for the Temporary Agencies to have a pipeline of Temps available during unplanned and planned peak staffing requirements.
