O365 Solutions Engineer II


The O365 Solutions engineer is primarily responsible for the design and development of O365 messaging and security solutions.


Maintain the overall design of the O365 messaging solution (Exchange Online) and ensure email technologies meet business requirements and are designed and implemented effectively.
Maintain the overall design of O365 security solutions, such as MAM, MDM, Conditional Access and Azure Information Protection etc. Ensure solutions meet security requirements while remaining user friendly.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of best practices and enhancements in O365, closely matching technology solutions to the business needs of the company.
Maintain system documentation, service manuals, and knowledge base articles for the support of each system. Support the development of training materials.
Act as liaison between Help Desk, Active Directory Eng, Desktop Eng, Network and the Local Support Team.
Collaborate closely with other engineering groups, such as Active Directory and Security.
Maintain monitoring and utilization reports for O365 messaging and security.
Provide level 3 escalation support .

At least 8-10 years of Information Technology within large enterprise organizations
Expert knowledge of O365 Exchange – 3 years’ experience in a large organization with 5000 mailboxes or more.
Deep knowledge in O365 security tools, Teams, O365 Groups and Active Directory. – 3 years’ experience
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention and orientation toward meticulous work
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Okta
Experience with Proofpoint
Experience with O365 collaboration tools, such as SharePoint and OneDrive


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
