GENERAL PURPOSE:The Manager, DC Inventory Control & Quality is responsible for:
- Managing the collection, input and reporting of Inventory Control and Quality data
- Coordination and planning of merchandise flow through the DC
- Managing teams of Inventory Control Auditors, Quality Auditors, Data Entry Clerks and Ticket Room Associates through delegation to their supervisor staff or in person
- Meeting daily with DC Management and Engineering to review and analyze quality and production data and to discuss action plans to improve DC performance
- Identifying and analyzing loss (shrink) patterns in actual and adjusted inventory levels
- Developing action plans that will ensure accuracy of the WMS
- Researching, follow-up, processing and reporting the status of inventory management regarding shrink controls and accuracy benchmarks
- Designing, review and modification of Inventory Control and Quality audit criteria, processes, procedures and reports
- Interacting with both inter and intra departmental staff, from associate to DCVP's
These are the basic responsibilities of the DC Inventory Control & Quality Manager. The individual in this position will also be responsible for developing audits to collect data for special projects in cooperation with Engineering, Business Solutions, DC Operations, Finance and Training.
The base salary range for this role is $78,900 - $118,550. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage and report the following IC metrics by operational processing area:
• Allocations from Hotel processed in (7) days or less
a. 7-days is a stem to stern objective, each of the hotel zones will need to have " < 7-day goal" this would include any offsite storage pulls (from the time of allocation to picked and presented for stager release 5-day or<, released & split 1-day and close container/load/shipped the remaining 1-day)
• Allocations from Flow processing in (5) days of less
b. 5-days is a stem to stern objective, each of the operational areas will need to have "< 5-day goals" (from time of allocation to release from marking lines 3-days or < , release & split 1-day and close container/load/shipped the remaining 1-day)
Project Management
• MOS/Damage
• Shrink/Inventory Control/Ghosts (Utilize Inv. Adj. reporting)
• Receipt Accuracy (Unit ID)
• Other Related (RTV, Siphons, Sample Pulls, Business Solutions, etc.)

• Attend production meetings and assist in other projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Proven Leadership abilities
• Detailed knowledge of distribution center processing, planning, scheduling, quality control techniques and managerial accounting.
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Ability to analyze data using standard statistical techniques
• Strong math skills and detail oriented
• Proficient at Excel and Word software
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling 40lbs occasionally
• Sense of urgency is responding to needs of Associates and Managers. Maintain confidentiality of all reports and salary information.
• 4-year degree, technical preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in a warehouse environment, on a concrete floor all day.
Requires continuous, standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance is necessary.
Frequently reaching, bending, stooping, talking, hearing (audio equipment), handling objects with hands and lifting to 50 lbs.
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
