IT Manager II (Portfolio & Process Management)

The Manager II for Portfolio Operations in the Portfolio & Process Management (PPM) team will help support all operational and analytical efforts for IT which includes, establishing Associate Value Proposition (AVP) program, Headcount Budgeting, Recruiting & Onboarding, Space Management and Communication. This position will manage IT operational governance to enable operational efficiencies, transparency / containment, and policy compliance.


• Manage and improve IT operational processes, providing services for portfolios which enable consistent and effective execution of departmental goals.

• Manage to analysis, planning, metric or status reporting, and other assigned special projects as required.

• Identify and create operational process improvements to drive efficiencies and clarity in the organization.

• Drive the Associate Value Proposition (AVP) program, come up with processes and efforts to influence a positive change in the IT organization, while partnering cross-functionally to help with adoption.

• Partner with Finance and Contracts on funding for projects, resource payroll, headcount budget, contracts terms and other finance related operational tasks.

• Partner with HR on organizational needs for IT Associates including Leadership and drive open items to completion.

• Manage headcount budgeting, recruiting, onboarding, space management, performance management, and communication function for the IT organization.

• Guide resource in the team to support and maintain established processes.

• Streamline and establish process and procedures for operational, repeatable projects/process.

• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business, Economics, Finance, or an equivalent year of experience

• At least 8 to 10 years' IT experience preferred within a Fortune 500 or Corporate environment

• Ability to connect the dots and understand the inner workings of the dependent processes

• Ability to build stable working relationships, strong communication skills both written and verbal

• Outstanding work ethic, displays a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

• Must maintain confidentiality due to exposure to salary info, future jobs, and IT budget

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, highly organized and detail oriented, out of the box thinker

• Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

• Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

• Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

• Occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.

• Occasional travel to our NYC office.

• This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
