GENERAL PURPOSE:The Manager I is responsible for managing the day-to-day application support activities for a defined area/department. Collaborate and negotiate with internal and external cross functional teams to resolve problems to meet schedules. Monitor, understand and approve changes impacting systems and infrastructure. Communicate status on critical incidents and activities, facilitate meetings to resolve issues, discuss monthly service reports and escalate challenges.
The base salary range for this role is $103,500 - $176,550. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage day to day application support activities, project transition, review new projects/activities, customer service issues and Change Control reviews and approvals
• Align team to meet IT strategic and department goals and polices
• Collaborate with internal and external IT teams to resolve/improve IT processes and procedures
• Participate in resolving and communicating critical incidents impacting business and IT operations
• Manage projects related to software deployment using knowledge of SDLC and agile project lifecycle
• Maintain stability and quality of service by ensuring operational standards and processes are followed; support documents are kept current
• Collaborate and make recommendations on existing and new IT operations/activities; implement approved changes in all areas of IT responsibilities
• Review support/project documentation (Service Level Agreements, transition plans, requirements/design documents, root cause analysis, etc.) to confirm accuracy, understanding and support
• Ensure that project decks and documentations are reviewed thoroughly prior cross-collaboration meetings
• Participate in capital/expense budget activities; create/review estimates, ROI and priority on proposed changes within the department

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum 6-8 years IT retail experience in application development and supporting supply chain applications for multiple warehouses
• 4+ years of IT Management experience in a supervisory position (direct or indirect reports), supporting applications and implementing company initiatives/goals
• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Business Information Computer Systems, or equivalent work experience
• Experience supporting and/or broad knowledge of supply chain processes and major supply chain applications - Retek Distribution Management (RDM), Kronos, Sato ticketing, etc.
• Technical experience with Unix, Windows, MS SQL, Oracle SQL, Dynatrace and Splunk
• Experience with BMC Control-M, Service Now, and experience using Microsoft Office and O365 suite
• Experience troubleshooting complex issues
• Maintain relationships with vendors, the business, build partnerships and work collaboratively with others
• Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy
• Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. This position requires the ability to use a computer, work as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
Minimal travel will be required. #LI-Hybrid
