GENERAL PURPOSE:Implement, develop, facilitate/train and coordinate all exempt and non-exempt training programs within the Distribution Center. Coordinates and provides ongoing warehouse process training to both exempt and non-exempt associates. Conducts soft skill/competency-based training for all exempt associates. Develops and delivers in-house training modules for exempt associates. Utilizes effective and innovative training techniques and suggests enhancements to corporate training programs. For all training initiatives, will establish, maintain and coordinate all scheduling, tracking and assessments for both exempt and non-exempt associates.
The base salary range for this role is $81,200 - $122,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Interfaces and coordinates with the DC Operations management team, to plan, implement and execute required training for DC Exempt and Non-exempt associates.
• Implements and/or develops training curriculum for various DC training programs, including preparing support materials, planning program format and coordinating/delivering presentations.
• Develop, initiate and coordinates follow-up procedures for the various training programs, to ensure all training objectives are achieved. Identifies and recommends areas (departments) that may need additional training and/or retraining.
• Manages and documents all training history for non-exempt and exempt associates, to include assessment documentation, retraining efforts and other necessary training documentation.
• Directly oversees the Associate training program, to include providing feedback to the Operations Team and Temp Agency management on performance of new hires and cross trained associates.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• BS/BA in a related business area
• 2-4 years' experience in Distribution Operations, Human Resources, Training, including managing other Training Exempts and Trainer team
• 2-4 years of Exempt level training course facilitation
• Sound understanding of DC operations and DC merchandise flow
• Sound understanding of WMS/Retek system
• Strong/effective platform and group presentation skills
• Strong planning/organizational skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Spanish bilingual skills helpful
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Occasional Requirements: Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
May also require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises 1 to 3 Training Supervisors and a team of 10 to 20 Ross and DMSI Associates across 2-3 shifts
May supervise Language Instructor
