About this opportunity ...

The Coordinator DE&I provides primary administrative support for the VP of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I). The Coordinator DE&I will also provide general administrative support for the DE&I Directors and Managers.

The DE&I Coordinator is responsible for specialized administrative work of a confidential nature. The Coordinator will take appropriate authorized action on behalf of the VP to ensure that matters requiring attention are referred to and handled appropriately. The Coordinator DE&I will also act as liaison between DE&I, HR, and other business units managing meetings, documentation, and activities requiring the VPs attention.

  • Coordinate/schedule internal and external meetings, conferences, teleconferences, etc.
  • Process invoices and expenses for the Office of DE&I.
  • Manage the VP's schedule and calendar; arrange meetings, conference calls and appointments at the direction of the VP of DE&I.
  • Maintain records, files, and related material of a highly confidential nature (i.e. working files, data, and plans) in Teams.
  • Update Community Network recurring reports (memberships, email lists, etc.)
  • Update the DE&I vacation calendar with staff and VP DE&I.
  • Assist in the creation of documents in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, as assigned.
  • Position will perform other job duties and projects as assigned.

Who you are...
  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • You have two 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably supporting an executive or department leader.
  • You have strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage multiple urgent priorities, adapt to changing priorities, and drive all tasks to completion.
  • You have advanced technical skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • You have exceptional organizing skills with a passion for details
  • You have proven experience communicating effectively (both verbally and written) at all levels both internally and externally.
  • You have critical thinking skills and solutions orientation.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to take feedback.
  • You have ability to effectively maintain confidential company information.
