Associate Representative, DC Payroll

GENERAL PURPOSE:


This position will be responsible for DC time and attendance inquiries, adjustments, missed punches, general questions related to time and attendance. Responsible for maintaining payroll time sheets/staffing report accuracy, and compliance audits. Assist DC production staff with questions regarding payroll, attendance tracking and personnel policy as it relates to the two.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Handles:

Requests for time sheets (outside of regular payroll process)

Requests for missed punches

Requests for retro or missed pay

Requests for vacation/sick/PH/CA paid sick leave balance/time available

Requests to know occurrence balance (# of occurrences)

General Time & Attendance

General questions (direct deposit, W-4, W-2 etc.)

Researches paper backups for time off requests/VTO

Requests for schedule change (count each request as 1, even if schedule change affects multiple associates)

Requests for any ad-hoc reporting

Requests for check pick-up

Requests for COS assistance

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:


Degree preferred

10 key by touch

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos preferred

Must be able to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and possess a sense of urgency.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
