Analyst, Systems Administration

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Systems Administration Analyst is accountable for executing Allocation processes including, but not limited to: auto filter maintenance, PLRs, PCAs, need calculations and class/store exception reporting. The Systems Administration Analyst provides on-going issue resolution and day-to-day support for the Allocation department. The Systems Administration Analyst owns weekly, monthly and annual reporting across the Allocation department. The Systems Administration Analyst is responsible for maintaining tools and providing support to Allocation Associates during their use. The Systems Administration Analyst is responsible for making minor enhancements in existing tools or reports and supports the Process Improvement Manager on large scale changes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reporting and Communication
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports and communicate findings to appropriate audience.
  • Respond to requests for additional reporting as directed by the Systems Administration Manager.
  • Communicate needs for advanced improvements in reporting and tools to Project Management team.

System Administration and Support

  • Provide technical day-to-day support to Allocation department for trouble shooting and issue resolution.
  • Maintain auto filters including (e.g., set-up, maintenance and monitoring).
  • Track and manage system issues from identification to resolution.

Process Improvement

  • Update system tools (e.g., repair defects and make minor changes) as directed by the Systems Administration Manager.
  • Work with the Process Improvement team to support large scale changes in existing reports and tools.
  • Work with the Process Improvement team to support the creation of new reports and tools

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including: pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas (e.g., v-lookup, etc.) and data formatting.
  • 3 years experience related work experience; 1 year experience in Allocations preferred.
  • Working knowledge of RDW, Toad, APX, SQL, and MS Access
