GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Senior HRIS Manager plays a key role in determining the strategy and execution of development and management of new system capabilities, building processes to support regional capabilities and managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors across the HRIS pyramid.

The Senior HRIS Manager will: Provide leadership, planning, and project management for the design and oversight of HRIS programs. Lead a team including several HRIS Managers and their teams who are responsible for multiple technology portfolios. In close alignment with pyramid leadership, plan and direct ongoing HRIS administration to support short and long-range Human Resources goals, manage highly technical, specialized, and complex projects, and partner with Business Partners, IT, and vendors in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements. Drive organizational activities in support of development and review of systems testing to ensure the integrity of sensitive data. Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to a cross-functional team of HRIS leaders and analysts.

The base salary range for this role is $138,100 - $228,900. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • In alignment with pyramid objectives and business stakeholders, drive the growth of global HRIS capabilities in support of business needs and strategic vision
  • Lead and develop the organization's subject matter expertise for systems, processes, administration, and end-user experience.
  • Project management and initiatives:
    • Drive program management activities down through the organization for assigned HRIS projects related to implementations; review requirements and scope documents and identify risks.
    • Drive development of team capabilities and ensure resources are available to support organizational objectives.
    • Evaluate operational effectiveness and develop business cases to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives.
    • Lead system implementations, upgrades, and system integrations in partnership with IT and other Business Partners.
    • Ensure technology solutions meet the needs of the business; collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify business requirements.
    • Manage requirements definition and application design by reviewing and approving business requirements documents, functional specifications and other related documents with project sponsor; manage User Acceptance Testing.
    • Identify and implement best practice quality control standards to ensure highest quality launches.
    • Ensure pyramid leadership is fully informed of risks, issues, challenges and provide solutions.
    • Provide support for development of training to system users.
    • Manage and maintains relationship with external vendors and service providers.
  • Training and leadership:
    • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the HR Systems team.
    • Provide thought leadership on industry and technology trends and best practices.
    • Effectively translate strategy, goals, and management philosophies into pragmatic and actionable deliverables.
    • Monitor business initiatives and trends to forecast and optimize HR system requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior HRIS experience in a leadership role
  • Experience managing global HRIS
  • Experience implementing global HRIS preferred
  • Experience with PeopleSoft administration
  • Experience managing team
  • Demonstrated ability to:

    • Use on-line systems/applications to support the work being performed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
