About this opportunity...
The Merchant Initiatives Team acts as a liaison for Merchants & Support team, driving processes and leveraging analysis to provide Order support and Merchant support. Cross-functional partners include Merchants, Loss Prevention, Finance, DCs/Supply Chain, and other teams across the organization. Daily communication and collaboration with these cross-functional partners is essential. Providing a level of support that fosters strong business relationships is important for this Merchant Initiatives Analyst role. The Merchant Initiatives Analyst is responsible for executing, improving, and documenting processes, managing the team inbox, and developing support recommendations for large and small projects. Partnering with their Manager, the Analyst will ensure that work is prioritized, addressed, and resolved quickly.
The base salary range for this role is $67,600 - $80,000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

What you will do and what you will learn...
Point of Contact / Business Partner

• Act as point of contact for multiple departments across the organization.

• Provide daily communication, collaboration, and support with Merchants, Loss Prevention, Finance, DCs/Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.

• Interact and communicate effectively within and across the organization, in person, on calls, and through emails to foster strong business relationships.

Request Management

• Own team inbox to resolve Merchant & Support Team ad hoc requests independently.

• Own and maintain internal project trackers. Drive work of the team through team project trackers and calendars.

Process Support

• Assist in coordination and execution of successful Merchant initiatives.

• Run, maintain, analyze, and improve reports that run on an established reporting cadence.

• Proactively exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to develop recommendations in support of both large and small projects.

• Own and maintain cross-functional agendas. Prepare materials for weekly agendas with multiple Support Teams. Facilitate meetings to ensure time is used efficiently while taking detailed notes and capturing next steps.

Support Daily Callouts and Ad-hoc Requests

• Provide recommendations for Merchant, Store, or Operational callouts.

• Develop and provide analysis for time sensitive ad hoc requests.

Training

• Help support education efforts. This includes but is not limited to development of guides, training and support materials as well as conducting introductory training sessions.

What you need to be successful...

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma / experience

• 3+ years of retail or consumer product experience

• Store/merchant knowledge is a plus

• Must be strong team player, have entrepreneurial drive and be highly organized

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and conceptual ability

• Must be able to act independently, multitask and manage multiple projects and priorities

• Advanced Computer skills - MS office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Ability to build working relationships

• Ability to adjust with changing work environments, priorities, and goals
