GENERAL PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for managing the promotional in-store signage programs and shop presentation for Ross & dd's stores. This includes partnerships with the New York buying office- to successfully plan and implement merchandising shops, develop creative sign concepts, test new sign elements, and overall project planning and management, budgeting and financial forecasting, effective vendor management, and communication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the in-store promotional signage and merchandising shops programs and process. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Partnering with NYBO Fashion Office for trend direction in development of creative themes for promotional kits and NYBO Merchants for direction on seasonal shops

• Facilitating and coordinating the development of creative briefs, story boards, shop maps and decks for review, approval, communication and execution of all promotional kits and seasonal shops

• Leading all processes involved in information gathering, documentation production and distribution of the promotional kits and seasonal shops and merchandising communication to all Ross/dd's Stores, including all content turn-ins from NYBO to ensure all deadlines are met.

• Developing and maintaining the merchandising and signing promotional process materials

• Occasional store visits for shop and sign set up and hindsighting; occasional travel to print facilities for press checks on key promotional kits

• Support all aspects of the promotional budget including development and forecast

• Vendor management through day-to-day communication, bi-annual performance and business reviews and periodic RFPs on an as needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• BA Degree preferred

• 3+ years' experience visual presentation experience in a retail environment required

• Graphic computer skills, design/layout production, helpful, but not necessary

• Proficient in the Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), In Design creative Suite, Photoshop

• Comfortable working in and juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment daily

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Job requires occasional travel to stores and relevant vendors
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
