Senior Specialist, Visual Presentation

GENERAL PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for managing the promotional in-store signage programs for Ross & dd's stores. This includes developing creative concepts, testing new sign elements, end to end project planning and management, budgeting and financial forecasting, effective vendor management, communication and execution of promotional strategies to the stores. Key components of this role include experience in print production and in-store signage programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for developing and managing all aspects of the in-store promotional signage programs and process. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Partnering with NYBO Fashion Office and Marketing for trend direction in development of creative themes for promotional kits

• Facilitating and coordinating the development, review, approval, communication and execution of all promotional kits

• Developing creative briefs, story boards, decks to facilitate the promotional review process, including but not limited to presentations to multiple levels of executive management

• Developing and maintaining the style guide for both brands

• Occasional travel to print facilities for press checks on key promotional kits

• Completing competitive shops and hind sighting to stay updated on market trends and evaluate effectiveness and relevance of promotional strategy

• Managing all aspects of the promotional budget including development, forecast and reconciliation

• Vendor management through day-to-day communication, bi-annual performance and business reviews and periodic RFPs on an as needed basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• BA Degree preferred

• 3+ years' experience visual presentation experience in a retail environment required

• Graphic computer skills, design/layout production.

• Proficient in the Microsoft software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), In Design, Photo Shop

• Comfortable working in and juggling multiple priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment daily

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Job requires occasional travel to stores and relevant vendors
For hybrid: This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
