The Sr. Manager, IT provides production oversight, change management, and maintenance/support for critical back-office technologies within the New York, Los Angeles, and Boston Merchant Offices. Responsible for planning, budgeting, coordination, and delivery of yearly maintenance agreements, required capacity, infrastructure improvements, and 5-year technology planning efforts. Leading the group which acts as a conduit between engineering, architecture, and support teams, this position requires a solid technical foundation as well as strong collaboration skills.

The base salary range for this role is $134,100 - $222,200. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.


• Leads a skilled team with specialization in the areas of PC technologies, Telecom/Server infrastructure, and Network/WiFi to respond to infrastructure related problems and assist in local installation/validation of new equipment.

• Provides regular oversight to ensure production changes are fully understood and that any risk to the business is agreed upon, communicated and mitigated when possible.

• Proactively evaluates and drives expansion of capacity and refresh of aged infrastructure to ensure that improvements are instituted ahead of need.

• Coordinates with architecture, engineering, and support teams to develop and maintain the Buying Office Technology plan as well as the associated 5yr and yearly budgets forecasting in support of that plan.

• Participates in Business Continuity planning for the Buying Offices and yearly Disaster Recovery activities.

• Travels to alternate sites when necessary for project execution or operational oversight

• At least 7 - 10 years IT experience progressive responsibility and influence. Proven hands on experience in datacenter or server room technologies preferred.

• Experience with change control, SDLC processes, and project management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; must be able to effectively communicate technical solutions to senior management

• Strong analytical ability, business acumen, judgment, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to travel and work with teams which are geographically distributed

• Undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Requires the ability to travel for operational maintenance and project based execution activities.
Must be able to work nights or weekends as necessary to accommodate production change with minimal impact to the business.
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
