About this opportunity ....

The Sample Processor role is an administrative function that supports the Merchant and Product Technical Services (PTS) teams. This role receives and manages physical product samples. Specific activities include unpacking boxes, recording receipt in our digital tool, taking images, and storing / disposing of samples.

This role may also interact with our Merchants and / or Product Technical Services teams - as samples processed by this team are then passed on to these groups.

Responsibilities...
  • Unpack boxes and organize physical samples by Product Technical Services owner.
  • Receive samples in our digital tool. Find the correct sample record in the tool, record receipt, and print and attach a barcode to track the sample location.
  • Digitize physical samples. Take images of a sample based on pre-determined guidelines and attach these images to the sample's digital record.
  • Manage the storage of samples. Pick up samples from PTS and / or Merchants once sample reviews are complete. Organize samples in a dedicated sample storage space and update the location in the digital tool. As needed, respond to Merchant or PTS requests to temporarily "check out" samples from storage.
  • Dispose of samples. On a regular cadence, run a report to identify samples eligible for disposal and email Merchants to confirm all can be discarded. Pull items from storage, update location in tool, and work with Corporate Properties to donate / dispose of samples.

Who you are ...
  • High school diploma required
  • One year minimum related work experience and / or retail experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable in an office environment, both working at a computer and doing physical activity (e.g., unpacking boxes, moving sample racks).
  • Must be a team player and able to be flexible / adapt as priorities and processes change
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Able to lift packages of up to 35lbs
