Receptionist

GENERAL PURPOSE:


Route incoming calls, locate office personnel, maintain reception area, and provide customer service to vendors, and visitors.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Handling incoming phone calls.

Provide customer service to vendors and visitors to reception areas.

Coordinate help desk calls.

Locate office personnel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:


Minimum 1 year experience in high volume corporate office utilizing multi-line switchboard.

Strong emphasis on customer service, especially via the phone.

Ability to provide the positive interaction necessitated in a reception area.

Past experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook is desirable


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
