Manager, Visual Presentation

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Manager of Visual Presentation will support Director in all seasonal signing packages and merchandising shops for both Ross and dd's brands. These include, but are not limited to, proposing, and supporting new signing strategies, supporting the creative and print vendors, planning and implementing merchandising shops and related budgets to deliver multiple seasonal events throughout the year. The Manager will work closely with buying office, strategic sourcing, store operations and marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Partnering with NYBO Fashion Office for trend direction in development of creative
themes for promotional kits and with NYBO Merchants for direction on seasonal shops

• Overseeing a team of visual presentation associates for all seasonal signing and shop
programs for both Ross and dd's brands with a focus on planning, execution, project management, problem solving and process management

• Leading the development of all store signing and merchandising shop programs including all required store graphics, shop maps, and partnering with cross-functional teams for
any fixture/hardware needs

• Analyzing and proposing new merchandising and signage strategies as well as improving
existing methods to drive sales and improve efficiency

• Managing communication flow to all partners including field team that supports all
initiatives

• Owning relationships with outside vendors to design, produce and distribute signing
packages. Recommending ways to improve signing packages and efficiencies in terms of design, production, installation, and overall cost

• Overseeing all expense and capital budgets associated with all related signing and shops projects. Understanding the long-range implications of all initiatives and making
recommendations to evaluate ROI on all projects

• Scheduling and conducting regular and ad hoc store visits to research, analyze and evaluate projects as necessary. Occasional travel to print facilities for press checks on
key promotional kits. Serving as a subject matter expert on store signing and shops and other visual programs and best practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 5 years of retail visual presentation in merchandising and signing with demonstrated experience

• BA or BS degree required

• Proven ability to coach and develop teams with 2+ years managing diverse teams

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit and Microsoft Power Point

• Experience developing and maintaining capital and expense budgets

• Ability to effectively understand and manage signage and merchandising processes

• Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner (verbal and written) at all audience levels

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively

• Ability to proactively drive solution-oriented results

• Demonstrated leadership with the ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Job requires occasional travel to stores and relevant vendors
For hybrid: This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
