GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Program Delivery team, as part of the Initiatives and Change PMO, supports implementation, adoption and sustainability of strategic company initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Program Delivery, the individual in this role will be responsible for project management for a variety of strategic company programs including technology, process, and organizational change.

The Manager, Program Delivery will work with program and functional leadership to evaluate business needs, manage internal and vendor-led workstreams, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive alignment and delivery program objectives. The Initiatives and Change PMO operates as a comprehensive program and change management office and as such the Manager may also assume change management responsibilities for initiatives in addition to program management. The individual in this role must have experience and knowledge of project management lifecycle, methodology and tools and how project and change disciplines integrate. Additionally, this role will support efforts to strengthen individual and organizational project management acumen for the company through workshops, coaching and other competency building activities.

The Manager, Program Delivery will manage direct reports, as well as third party vendors, in the delivery of strategic company initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage large and complex projects throughout the entire lifecycle, coordinating the efforts of vendors, internal team members, and other business units ; Identify, escalate, and resolve issues critical to project success; Manage, mentor, and lead internal and external staff as defined in project structures
  • Serves as a liaison and subject matter expert for HR initiatives within the organization. Responsible for continuous collaboration and communication with internal and external business partners (E.g., Executive Leadership, Store Operations, Information Technology)
  • Perform ongoing review of program strategy and project management methodology; working with HR Leadership on continual improvement of business processes
  • Perform business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level
  • Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships
  • Contribute to strategic planning, monthly status reporting, budgeting and other assigned special projects as required by position
  • Manage the recruitment, retention, and career development of staff, as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • College degree; MBA or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 5-7 years project management or management consulting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking
  • Self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Outstanding work ethic; displays a sense of urgency to resolve issues efficiently and to deliver high quality work
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with pressure and a fast-paced environment while managing ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Maintains confidentiality concerning all projects
  • Expertise in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Up to 25% travel may be required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. The job also requires sitting, standing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
Occasional Requirements: Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds. May also require occasional driving and traveling overnight for business functions.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Must be able to travel
