GENERAL PURPOSE:

The LP Intelligence Manager will be responsible for analyzing, assembling, and distributing data and reporting of Loss Prevention activities to assist with investigations of theft or identification of business solutions to enhance strategies and results. This role will lead a group of Sr. Analysts and/or Analysts who are responsible for executing daily investigative routines, building regular reporting, or fulfilling ad-hoc data analysis requests from internal and external stake holders.

The base salary range for this role is $87,700 - $132,400. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage the preparations, analysis, assembly, and distribution of regular LP Intelligence reporting. This includes reporting all key Loss Prevention metrics and identification of areas of opportunities based on significant or deteriorating trends.

• Conduct regular review and in-depth data analysis of LP initiatives, standard reports, and metrics to identify correlations with shrink, inconsistencies, areas of opportunity, and root causes of shortage.

• Develop and maintain key internal cross-functional relationships to assist in understanding issues and opportunities identified by business partners. Support those areas in communicating recommendations to LP leadership and senior management.

• Regularly review and improve strategies for identifying/resolving theft incidents and drive efficiencies in the development/consumption of regular LP Intelligence reporting to support organizational enhancements. Design support materials for new rollouts such as training, policy, and new procedure implementation, etc.

• Identify internal/external theft activity throughout the organization by using investigative resources, i.e., remote monitoring, exception based reporting, store and system reports, social media, etc. while maintaining accurate records of all identified activity and related follow up; disseminate and communicate reporting as necessary.

• Partner with peers, business partners, and/or supervisor to identify, design, and develop additional uses for current company reporting leveraged to generate potential case leads and identification of new types of dishonest activity.

• Support response efforts to address serious theft related incidents and collaborate with internal business partners to review findings and develop recommendations for resolution, solutions, or improvement; timely and accurate communication to appropriate leadership required.

• Oversee activities relating to Loss Prevention's Case Management system. This includes partnering with team members to design enhancements for data capture and reporting, coordinating with the vendor to implement modifications and providing admin support to new and existing users.

• Coordinate between Loss Prevention and IT on all tasks associated with LP reporting including the LP KPI reporting, etc. Responsible for partnering with IT on requirement designs, upgrades and all maintenance issues concerning the KPI.

• Establish and manage external relationships (i.e. vendors, industry partners, Law Enforcement, other retail organizations, etc.) to enhance current programs, technology and strategies and develop new business solutions.

• Manage, motivate, develop, and provide training to LP Analysts for all routine, reporting and analysis activities.

• Develop direct reports using IDP's, computer based training and partnering with Human Resources to facilitate training and development curriculum

• Develop, implement, and lead LP Intelligence initiatives, projects, and other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• BA degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Accounting or similar fields of study

• 4-6 years of previous management or supervisory experience required

• 2+ years of experience with reporting and analytics of Loss Prevention data/metrics or exception reporting systems (i.e. XBR, Aspect, etc.) is preferred

• Experience with Service Now and Statistical Reporting is a plus

• Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated track record in analytical or problem solving roles

• Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) and Microsoft Outlook programs

• Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills

• Detail oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy

• Ability to work independently or on a team on projects of all sizes

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #Hybrid
