Manager, ICQA Shortage Control

The ICQA Shortage Control Manager is responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis to identify root causes and recommend alternative course of actions, procedural updates, audits and potential system updates across multiple DC's. The Manager will also be responsible for presenting shrink analysis, reporting of shrink results, and assist in analysis for all other inventory related initiatives. This position will be required to partner and collaborate with the executive leadership, DC Operations, Merchants, ICQA managers, Business Analysts and other related cross-functional groups.

  • Oversee assigned ICQA responsibilities such as data collection, research, and analysis of DC shrink.
  • Manage a team of ICQA Shortage Control Analysts in execution of assigned ICQA responsibilities. Ensure timely data collection, input accuracy and research analysis of associates.
  • Responsible for conducting in depth data analysis to identify patterns, root causes, areas of opportunity and recommend measures to reduce and prevent shrink. This may include but is not limited to, deep dive into complex shrink opportunities, purchase orders, over receipts, and open quantities with shortage opportunities.
  • Design/Create/Update Shortage Control processes, procedures and reports.
  • Use data visualization such as charts, graphs, and tables (to give visual representation of trends). Accurate manipulation of large data sets from various reports and databases.
  • Actively collaborate across cross-functional departments and provide innovative and creative ways to achieve the desired results in inventory control and shrink recovery and reduction.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in resolving problems and communicate research/resolutions.
  • Provide consistent level of internal and external customer service through ownership and integrity.

  • 5 years of inventory control and/or quality assurance supply chain related experience preferred.
  • 4-year degree, technical preferred
  • Proven Leadership abilities
  • Detailed knowledge of Distribution Center processing, planning, scheduling, quality control techniques and managerial accounting with some knowledge of DC reports.
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of management and departments both within and outside the company.
  • Outstanding analytical skills: Must have a data driven approach to solving problems
  • Ability to manage large data sets and import, clean, transform, validate, and/or model data to aid in the decision-making process.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy on work output
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work aggressively to complete projects. Prioritize multiple competing projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate and engage with different teams across the network to accomplish projects.
  • Strong fundamental business skills - must be Excel, Access and PowerPoint proficient
