Manager, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I)

GENERAL PURPOSE:


The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I) Manager will manage and coordinate Employee Resource Group (called Community Networks at Ross) plans, programs, initiatives and other activities. This manager will also create, analyze and assess data trends to provide predictive analytics and insights, and measure the effectiveness of the DE&I strategy. Additionally, this position will manage DE&I recognition programs/rankings and DE&I feedback from our Associates.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Manages and coordinates Community Network Group (CNG) plans, programs, events and initiatives in collaboration with DE&I Directors, CNG Sponsors, Leaders and members, HR Business Partners, and HR specialty groups across all functions within the organization.

Serve as the primary contact for DE&I data reporting and as the internal DE&I data knowledge and insights subject matter expert.

In partnership with others, assess data reports, surveys and trends providing insights to Human Resources Business Partners corporate-wide to advance the DE&I strategy and drive impact through diversity data and research.

Provide data insights and recommendations to support Talent Management, Recruitment, Retention, Learning and Development and other DE&I Strategies.

Conduct research on key Diversity & Inclusion topics, programs and initiatives to advance and support Diversity and Inclusion at Ross and dd’s.

Manage and develop holistic tracking methods to effectively measure DE&I progress, report progress and ensure goals are achieved.

Provides consultation on DE&I data to business partners as needed.

Manage the company’s Human Rights Campaign, Corporate Equality Index Ratings to ensure the highest possible level of achievement (100%)

Respond to Inclusion@ros.com email inquiries from Associates

Assists with the planning, scheduling and coordination of DE&I meetings including the design and development of meeting decks and other communications/tools.

Support DE&I Directors with the development and coordination of key external DE&I partnerships.

Assist with the planning and facilitation of DE&I Training and other learning tools.

Continually evaluates DE&I effectiveness and recommends solutions to drives continual improvement.

May require travel at least 20% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:


Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing large scale strategies, initiatives, projects or programs

Ability to gather, interpret and analyze complex data

Ability to manage cross-functional projects, as demonstrated by previous experience coordinating deadlines and deliverables with multiple stakeholders

Strong oral and written communications skills including presentation skills

Strong collaboration and relationship building skills

Advanced Skills in MS Office 365 – Work, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.

Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.

Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
