Maintenance Training Manager

Develop, implement, manage, facilitate/train and coordinate all Maintenance training programs within the DC. Supports Maintenance management with all training programs to include MMIT, MMIT2, CTTP, clerk/CMMS, continuous, refresher, safety and new equipment training. For all training initiatives, will establish, maintain and coordinate all SOP’s, scheduling, tracking and assessments, as well as liaise with HR, manage resources, coordinate with 3rd party training content providers, support trainers, trainees, candidate recruiting and provide marketing for maintenance training programs.

  • Interfaces and coordinates with the DC Maintenance management teams, to plan, implement and execute required training for Maintenance departments and provides management teams with budgetary forecasts/updates relating to training.
  • Updates and/or develops training curriculum, materials or resources for various Maintenance training programs, including preparing support materials, standardized reporting, planning program format and coordinating/delivering presentations.
  • Develop, initiate and coordinates follow-up procedures for the various training programs and SOP’s, to ensure all training objectives are achieved. Interacts with Trainers and Trainees for continuous assessment and improvement of programs and processes.
  • Manages and documents all training history for non-exempt and exempt associates, to include assessment documentation, required regulatory training, retraining efforts and other necessary training documentation.
  • Supports Maintenance Trainers by providing trainer or technical skills training and/or resources for improvement in training delivery.

Requirements: Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. The job also requires sitting, standing, walking, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Occasional Requirements: Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
May also require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
