Maintenance Mechanic II

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic II performs installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance duties of industrial electrical controls and basic controls

Job Responsibilities:
To perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment, including transportation conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts. The right individual will need to maintain accurate record keeping and to perform emergency mechanical repairs to facility equipment. The right individual will have experience welding and utilizing cutting torch.

Required Qualifications:
  • Use and be certified in the operation of forklifts, powered pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Successful completion of the Skills Assessment Test
  • Must have command of basic manual hand tools, powered hand tools, such as, drills, grinders, and saws.
  • Must possess knowledge of basic facility repairs, such as, painting, minor plumbing, and lighting.
  • Possess the knowledge of spare parts procedures and inventory control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical systems failures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel - Testing Required
