The Lead, Project Coordinator facilitates the development, implementation, and ongoing execution of multiple Loss Prevention technology projects, programs and systems. This is accomplished by leading projects from concept to completion, acting as a subject matter expert, and working effectively with internal partners (i.e. Store Operations, Store Planning, IT, HR, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) and external resources (i.e. vendors, service providers, etc.) to drive results, and monitoring to ensure all projects meet scope, timeline, and budget needs. The Lead, Project Coordinator may also be responsible for managing the maintenance and repair/replacement of physical security equipment (i.e. EAS, CCTV, domes, mirrors, alarm systems, etc.) in existing stores and overseeing store specific projects related to physical security equipment.


Project Management

• Develops project timelines, budgets and monitors equipment installations for all projects as assigned. Ensures that all projects are executed according the project process for timelines, funding, drawings, approvals, equipment standards and quality standards.

• Issues plans to installers and supervises and monitors equipment installations by resolving issues on timing, quality, accuracy, pricing and the shipment of equipment.

• Supervises and maintains project schedules to ensure deadlines are met.

• Creates and manages the project "punch-list" to ensure items are completed in an effective and timely manner.

• Reviews daily progress by vendors by verifying photos and remote monitoring camera views

• Generates project recaps with photos from installations and remote monitoring camera views for project close out review meetings.

• Manages key vendors to monitor quality of work

• Handles vendor and store calls as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Project Communication

• Communicates schedules, updates and revisions and coordinates with Field Management, Construction, Facilities, Store Ops and others so that the equipment installation process works in concert with any construction process that may be included in a project's scope of work.

• Communicates project plans and scope to vendors and field management and vendors; ensures that information is communicated to the impacted groups in an effective and timely manner prior to installation date.

• Leads kick-off calls, daily check-ins and post mortem meetings with Vendors, Stores, Field Management and other business partners.

Expense Control

• Manages all aspects of the bid process by choosing vendors for bidding, qualifying each bid, analyzing the pricing, and awarding of the contract.

• Gathers all required quotes and pricing and leads the capital expenditure request (CER) process for projects.

• Tracks and manages all project costs to remain within the budget. Produces a monthly forecast document to the finance team for the monthly existing store capital report.

• Works with Finance team to ensure that budget is followed and forecast is reported each month.

• 5+ years project management or related experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills and conceptual ability

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at one time

• Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment.

• Some travel may be required
