About this job:


The Analyst, Inbound Processes, will work within a team responsible for the flow of product into, within and out of the Distribution Center (DC) to ensure that receipt plans are met. This includes the appropriate research and recommendations in prioritizing inbound orders and their processing. This role will interact with Merchandise Operations, DCs/Supply Chain, Allocation and other cross-functional teams across the organization.


  • Work with logistics, production planning, merchants, vendors and compliance team to resolve transportation and point of entry issues.
  • Track and regularly report on DC flow, anticipate future issues that may impact ability to achieve goals. Identify patterns and derive insights to improve operational efficiency and achieve key deliverables.
  • Research/recommend the prioritization of the inbound or unloading of trailers in yard according to standards. Special handling requests are evaluated, escalated and handled as needed based on business needs.
  • Provide peak/seasonal processing support to ensure optimal receipt flow during critical business periods.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of retail or consumer product experience preferred
  • Background in operations, logistics and/or supply chain is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and capacity to evaluate information and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
