GENERAL PURPOSE:

The HRIS Analyst will primarily be responsible for creating and auditing the requisitions for Ross Stores. This includes moving candidates to new requisitions.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should be able to think critically and utilize creative solutions to problem solve and troubleshoot. The candidate should be able to analyze data to look for anomalies, as well as create and execute audit processes. The candidate should be highly motivated, well-organized, able to meet deadlines and to collaborate with others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Systems Administration
  • Essential Duties for this role are to support the Requisition Refresh Project by executing TCC's on an ongoing basis, setting up of TCC scripts and troubleshooting issues related to the refresh activities.
  • Ensure system data integrity and perform supporting data audits by creating Taleo OBI reports to ensure data accuracy within Taleo.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements and ongoing operations by developing user acceptance testing plans and assisting testing process.
  • Develops and maintains documentation of system configuration and business processes used by the HRIS team.
  • Provide reporting and analytics support by creating standard OBI reports for ongoing customer needs.

Customer Support
  • Manage day to day Taleo HRIS support activities and assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of application issues.
  • Assist with Production support to other HR systems, including Applicant Tracking system (Taleo), Onboarding system (Taleo) and Learning Management system (SumTotal).
  • Support the Taleo application by performing system maintenance, production support, project/process improvements, report writing and training.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests in a timely manner
  • Manage permissions, access, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

Reporting
  • Work closely with other members of HRIS team to provide guidance around reporting of HR data.
  • Develop custom OBI reports for Requisition Refresh activities in Taleo.
  • Other job duties
  • Interface with other departments and vendors to understand issues which may affect HR Systems.
  • Identify system solutions which address needs of HR or other departments.
  • Direct team in performing audits to ensure correct use of systems, appropriate system access and data integrity.
  • Reviews end user training and guides for technical and functional accuracy.
  • Creates FAQs or other technical documentation for system users.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 3 years prior HRIS experience.
  • Prior experience administering HR systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Review and analyze data to identify and resolve problems
  • Use online systems/applications to support the work being performed (Microsoft Word and Excel, Taleo, PeopleSoft HR, LMS Other Saas HR Systems)
  • Excellent analytical and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel
  • Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of associates

  • Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
