HR Supervisor (Transactional Talent)

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Supervise, motivate, support and develop a team of engaged Associates focused on delivering a high level of detailed and efficient transactional talent processes for a designated group of Distribution Centers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Hold regular developmental touch bases with direct reports.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staffing meetings.
  • Ensure that all Staffing Orders are processed timely.
  • Have a regular communication cadence with HR Directors
  • Have a regular communication cadence with temporary staffing agency partners to ensure that Distribution Center needs are being addressed in a timely manner and in accordance with established processes.
  • Ensure all established staffing processes are in place, and functioning as detailed on current Process Guides throughout the Distribution Center Network.
  • Ensure that all established Staffing Process Guides are reviewed on a regular basis and updated as business needs dictate.
  • Ensure that all Candidate interviews are scheduled timely with Hiring Managers.
  • Ensure that all pre-employment required testing is scheduled, taken and that invoices are validated. (Drug/Job Skills/Background)
  • Ensure that New Hire Folders are prepared in advance of new Associate orientation.
  • Ensure salary work-ups are completed as required and that all approvals are attained.
  • Supervise the creation and administration of offer letters.
  • Supervise the scheduling of non-exempt Associate orientation and onboarding.
  • Supervise the auditing of Associate files on a regular basis, including I-9s.
  • Supervise the process of adding required documentation to existing Associate files.
  • Ensure all Non-Exempt open positions are posted.
  • Ensure that conversions from temporary staffing agency to Ross Associates are completed properly.
  • Ensure that Goalpost research is conducted and that the proper corrective actions are administered.
  • Supervise responses to Talx unemployment claim requests.
  • Deliver required reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 3-5 years multi-unit HR experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, analytical, organizational and communications skills
  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
Travel up to 25%.
