HR Services Representative (Tier 1)

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Support Ross Stores, Inc. (Stores) and HR initiatives by coordinating and executing administrative processes. This position is responsible for collecting and disseminating information quickly, clearly and accurately; analyzing, interpreting and reporting data; identifying priorities and problems requiring action and facilitating communication for timely responses.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Process requests for password resets (i.e. LMS, GPS / Onboarding)

Review Background status and advise stores on next steps

Identify and follow up on Compliance related items (i.e. I-9 exceptions)

Coordinate directly with stores request Associate files/records

Complete field requests for "re-hire" by completing approvals and system transactions.

Coordinate and process all paperwork / notices (i.e. unemployment claims, LOA forms, Worker's Comp, DOL notices, EEOC notices

Track and report on workload & customer service request

Special projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School diploma

1-3 years administrative experience

1 year minimum Human Resources experience

Advanced PC skills

High level MS Office skills including Word and Excel

Accurate mathematical and statistical reporting and analysis

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal and written) with organizational awareness and sensitivity

Strong attention to detail

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the responsibilities of the HR Services Representative job, the employee is required to speak and listen. The employee is regularly required to sit and use their hands and fingers to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee on occasion may need to be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read words on a computer monitor or documents. These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the HR Services Representative job.
