GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Facility Coordinator position within Ross' Corporate Properties department is focused on assisting in the support of the day-to-day facility management of our leased Los Angeles Buying Office (LABO). Duties include ensuring the efficient management of work orders, which support facility maintenance and associate requests. Maintaining effective relationships with CP management and vendors to ensure efficient, accurate and reliable services. Coordinating moves, additions, and changes (MACs) including updating the work order system. Managing supply distribution, and maintaining the office supply inventory log. Maintaining organization of CP storage areas, and management of sample disposition. Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create and maintain work orders for daily operations of all ongoing maintenance, repairs (i.e., copiers, faxes, lunchroom equipment) and associate requests.

• Coordinates all MAC (Move/Add/Change) activity in conjunction with IT, as needed.

• Maintains all copy and mail rooms by keeping them stocked and maintains office supply inventory log.

• Maintains organization of CP storage areas, ensuring efficient use of space and material disposition when necessary.

• Assist with maintenance work orders as assigned by management.

• Miscellaneous projects as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 3 years' work experience

• Strong written & verbal communication skills

• Accuracy absolutely required

• Attention to detail

• Proficiency with basic math and accounting skills

• Proficient in basic computer skills including working knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel

• Ability to exercise independent judgment, conflict resolution, time management & problem solving

• Basic knowledge of minor construction & maintenance tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

No unusual physical requirements. Requires moderate lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.
Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can usually be anticipated; some interruptions are present; travel or other inconveniences have advance notice; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.
Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires full-time in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback.
