Coordinator, Payroll LOA


Responsible for coordinating LOA payments for Exempt and Non-Exempt associates. Payments will be for both continuous and intermittent LOAs. Coordinate with state agencies and third party vendors, if applicable, to pay associates accordingly. Keep track of all LOA payments; maintain records to ensure proper trackability for reporting purposes.


Analyze all incoming documents from state and 3rd party vendors or departments. Run daily queries for new or updated LOA entries. Analyze Leave type to determine correct calculation of payment.
Calculate, coordinate and reconcile LOA payment for Exempt and Non-Exempt associates, both on cycle and off cycle
Respond to employee, state and federal agency inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
Maintain all Leave of Absence payment records in both soft and hard copies.
Administer and interpret company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with internal and external entities and their regulations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills
LOA Processing experience a plus
Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus
1-2 years payroll experience preferred
AA degree preferred


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
