Coordinator, Human Resources

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Provide coordination and administrative support for University and Military recruiting hiring across Corporate, Stores, Loss Prevention and Distribution Centers. This role provides front line support to the University and Military Recruiting Leadership team for any staffing, system or process related pieces.

This position provides support to our internal staffing and human resources systems from the initial creation of the requisition. Responsibilities include communicating event logistics for all events, management and shipping of materials for recruiting activities, posting jobs on various websites, pulling applicant resumes for recruiter review, communicating interview selections, and more. In addition, providing administrative duties to support the University & Military Recruiting team.

Attention to detail and strong communication is critical to the success of this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Effectively coordinate the scheduling and logistics of events including Military career events, University career fairs, on-campus interviews, resume reviews, mock interviews, networking events, etc.
Open and post new job requisitions on both the company and external job boards for the University and Military teams
Assist in the scheduling and coordination of interviews with the team and field leaders
Management of giveaway supplies and shipment of materials to and from recruiting events and activities
Provide support to the Military and University Teams as it relates to reporting and records
Attend University or Military events, as needed
Other administrative and project based duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

1-3 years of previous HR Coordinator or relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Requirements: Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. The job also requires sitting, standing, walking, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Occasional Requirements: Job occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
May also require occasional driving and/or traveling overnight for business functions or site visits.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
