Coordinator, HRIS

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for supporting HRIS team members in their maintenance of Ross Stores, Inc. human resource systems. This would include data entry and table administration to support system functionality. In addition, this role will support HRIS customer service support activities across multiple systems. Other responsibilities would include general administrative tasks using Microsoft Office tools, such as scheduling meetings, creating communications, and following up with Ross associates to ensure unresolved issues are addressed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONs:

  • Support the HRIS team customer service support activities for the recruiting, onboarding, and learning systems.
  • Participate in systems testing efforts.
  • Support HRIS Team by maintaining tables in multiple systems. Ensure data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform HRIS administrative tasks, including scheduling Outlook meetings, creating notifications, creating reference documents, using MicroSoft Office, maintaining Excel spreadsheets, and running data audits in the recruiting and learning systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • College degree required
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to set priorities with good organization and follow-up skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Attention to detail
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft, Taleo, Sumtotal LMS, or E-Verify

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:


No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility.


Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.


Job frequently requires sitting, handling objects with hands.


Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
