Business Analyst (Office of the CIO)


Business Analyst in the Office of the CIO department will support operational and analytical needs for IT which includes Communications, Recruiting, Onboarding, Headcount Budgeting, & Space Management. This position will be responsible for working cross-functionally with IT Portfolios and will be involved in administering IT’s intranet. Areas of focus include ad-hoc analysis, documentation, process improvement, troubleshooting, and relationship management.


  • Support IT operational processes, gather and document status updates for repeatable projects/process.
  • Contribute to analysis, planning, org metrics, status reporting, data collection and other assigned ad-hoc projects.
  • Collaborate with IT Portfolios to prioritize open headcount and reconcile related budget, etc.
  • Assist with ad-hoc departmental needs, recruiting, onboarding, space management, performance management and communication for the IT organization.
  • Assist with administrative coordination of performance processes (Associate goals, Year End and Mid-Year).

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Economics, Finance or Computer Science, or an equivalent diploma or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the Retail and/or IT field
  • Proficient with MS Excel analysis, metrics and presentation – formulas, V-lookup, pivot tables, etc.
  • Ability to understand Finance acumen and follow established practices, policies and procedures
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality due to exposure to salary info, future jobs and IT budget
  • Outstanding work ethic, displays a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to connect the dots and understand the inner workings of the dependent processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels at ease especially with upper management, enthusiastic and brings energy to the team
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented


Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.

Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
