Associate Analyst, Hotel SKU Management

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Associate Hotel SKU Management Analyst facilitates the in season release of products that are warehoused in the Distribution Centers. The Associate Hotel SKU Management Analyst is responsible for achieving daily class level allocation targets. He or she selects a broad assortment of SKUs to achieve both the allocation target and specialized release strategies. Key responsibilities also include conducting analyses to support company and DC initiatives as well as executing essential operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

SKU Selection Execution

• Strategically select SKUs to achieve Class level allocation goals, and support a balanced assortment (e.g. category or label)

• Identify issues impacting goal achievement and solidify recommendations with Manager

• Provide Production Team with hotel SKUs scheduled for daily release to stores

• Adhere to unique business specific approaches and ensure they are incorporated into the SKU Selection process

• Execute high level exception based SKU Selection strategies (e.g. unit selections that are specific by DC)

Strategy Management

• Complete analytics to support business needs; assist team to research and troubleshoot callouts

• Monitor, track and execute business strategies through their completion; package results and recommendations

Essential Operations

• Validate that all strategies are accurately captured into reporting tools

• Prepare recaps and reports to support business needs

• Resolve SKU Selection issues within a timely manner to not disrupt production

• Regularly maintain Business Nuances and Priority Tools to support SKU Selection

• Assist team with business process activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of related experience

• Working knowledge of all Allocation concepts; solid Excel and mathematics foundation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
