About this job:
This position works with Technical Services, Sample team leadership and Merchants to support the establishment of baseline technical product reporting and generate data that is utilized to aid in proactive make up merchandising and sourcing decisions, maintenance of make-up and sample due dates calendars and assist Technical Services in other projects.


Product Assurance
  • Manages, analyses and reports out on vendor scorecard and performance metrics, collaborates with Technical Services leadership and Merchant/Merchant leadership to communicate to vendors and work to develop corrective action plans
  • Collaborate with Technical Services leadership on vendor scorecarding production.
  • Maintain Corrective Action Plans (CAP) submitted by vendors if merchants require Technical Services support with CAP’s
  • Communicates to internal and external business partners Ross’s apparel, soft home and hard lines including footwear, jewelry, sunglasses, belts, handbags & luggage fit and grading guidelines as adopted, (direct/Ross Partners/Ross Connection)
  • Partners with Sample team and Merchandise Operations to ensure limited to no overlap on data collection and reporting
  • Support Merchants and Technical Services in enhancing and implementing an in store product assurance program as requested by Merchant leadership, rolling findings to technical product vendor scorecarding
  • Communication to internal and external business partners Ross’s product assurance guidelines (direct/Ross Partners/Ross Connection)
  • Work with Technical Services leadership, Sample team and Merchants to develop, maintain and rollup divisional/department/vendor seasonal product make up calendars
  • Monitor and analyze make-up, pre-production, production timeline and approvals to ensure achievement of Merchant required delivery dates
  • Work with Sample team, Merchants and Vendors if needed to ensure timely calendar execution
  • Recommend system & process improvements
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Fashion Merchandising or Technical Design or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail corporate buying office environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Aptitude to training
