About this job:

Responsibilities may include planning, forecasting andhindsighting of sales, markdowns, store EOM and hotel EOM, AUR and IMU. Communicateand consult across the Merchant, Planning, Finance, Allocation, DC, Store Ops,Marketing and Real Estate organizations. Responsible for scheduled and ad hoc reporting along with observationsand action plans. May be responsible forsupervising, coaching and mentoring one or more analysts.


  • Use allavailable resources, data, history, peer and system to develop well thought outplans
  • Independently and collaboratively assess hindsight performanceto plan, identify risk, opportunities and make recommendations foraction plans. Drive implementation ofaction plan
  • Support business by running ad-hoc reports whileoffering suggestions to achieve the company’s goals
  • Effectively communicate business issues/results. Ensure written and verbal communications areclear, concise and consistent
  • Insure all work reflectstechnically accurate results with minimal errors or mistakes and attention to detail. Demonstrate an understanding and the importance of insuringquality of work.
  • Recap and communicatecross-functional issues and escalate as needed.

Desired Skills andQualifications:

  • Requires 5-6 yrs. experienceinvolving financial and retail planning background
  • Advanced spreadsheet applications
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Decision making ability
  • Strong communicator, both writtenand verbal
