Allocation Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE:


The Allocation Department is responsible for ensuring that all 1100 Ross & dd’s stores reflect the “treasure hunt” philosophy that they are known for.


Assortment Analysts play an integral part in the Allocation Department. You will be a direct link to the bi-coastal Merchant Organization. Utilizing your solid analytical skillset, you will execute the merchant vision by conducting key analytics and implementing allocation approaches that support assortment strategies and business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Assortment Strategy Analysis

  • Define allocation approaches
  • Conduct assortment analytics and communicate recommendations to merchants
  • Generate analysis, as required, to support business events
  • Facilitate the analysis to support the execution of seasonal strategies
  • Analyze and assess assortment needs for new stores
  • Execute specialized allocations
  • Participate in store visits; communicate findings and recommendations
Inventory Plan Analysis
